I just found this yesterday and have watched it three times already. Really hoping for a follow up and/or feature length version!!
A mr Spock mask that's scary
Awesome movie man! I love the "Craven way" with the meta-commentary... Very inventive and well executed... Congratulations! A fan from Brasil <3
This was well worth it 1 thousand stars great great great work
Lol
Fucking hell lmao. Great one
This is one of my fav short movies ever! The tension and comedic aspects are so perfect
Thank you! 🙏
😱
I just subscribed, I love this. :)
Thank you Candace!!
@@ShantHamassian: you're very much welcome. :) the actor that played Michael Myers is he on facebook so I can follow him??
😮Yo, those beers she's drinking are among one of my favorite Stouts! But she clearly has water in them bottles. You can't chug them thangs like that.😉
All that fighting with sticky thighs...
"No thanks. I'm straight edge."
The shuffle he does when crouched was priceless
Loved it! Also well done on the one, continuous shot style!
Glad I finally checked this out! Good job lol ⬆️
This feel like those infinite loop films but love the 80's style music and the Nemoy mask just as effective as shatner mask just as creepy... I hope this becomes a longer film
At first I thought that spock mask was a ben stiller mask 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Whollee sh*t that was great
Lance Wagner Thank you, Lance!!!
I didn't get it
The people at the end were her parents : )
BRAVO BRAVO
THANK YOU! 🙏
It's refreshing and good
hi Shant, i sent u a dm on vimeo 🙏🏼
This was awesome! What camera did you use?
Jacob Lawrence it was a RED epic! We used only one lens, Canon L 24mm 1.4, EF mount
4 pack of beer? That is just insulting least at where I live.
They should make proper Slasher Comedy Movie Using The same name
the only problem with this film is you show more of the girl, and not enough of Spock as Michael Myers. :( other than that I loved this very much please make another one with Spock as Michael Myers. :) ;)
CANDACE GRABER Glad you enjoyed! You know what they say... leave them wanting more ;)
@@ShantHamassian: yes I did enjoy,, yes, I want to see more films of Leonard Nimoy as Spock playing Michael Myers. :) ;)
Awwww,, YAY,, I love this,, I'm a huge fan of Leonard Nimoy, aka Spock,, I hope you make another fan film like this having Spock as Michael Myers as a killer. :) ;)
Always been a fan of this. Originality and Homage with cliche’s. Amazing fan film
The camera work was interesting. The plot didn't really interest me for the full running time. I suggest filming something someone else wrote.
Completely lovable, I really liked this. The Nimoy mask playing off the Shatner mask in the Micheal Myers series was clever and an unexpected treat. Thank you.
bensweiss thank you for your kind comment!
Great song! "Grayce - Dying For Love"
Awesome plus just looking at a women that beautiful addeded to it👍
Lajk ko dolazi sa klipa od Magicnog
This was horrible. The whole concept of killing the bad guy, is a concept for a REASON. Jesus! Knife through the throat, the eye and pretty much severing his head with a cleaver and he just gets up and walks away. Blood all over the place and the only thing the parents are looking for is a boy. It plays so much better as a parody of 80's slasher flicks, i.e. COMEDY, which is how this should have been listed.
Where do I find the listing?
@@giuffre714 just type in night of the slasher on RUclips. Should take you right to it.

They must have gotten tired of using the standard, William Shatner/Halloween masks. This one was just a bit over the top, slightly venturing into the ridiculous genre.
That was the point.
This was an interesting movie for sure with some unique qualities that i really enjoyed so Ima do a mini review of it just because i feel like it will be seen. with that being said I'm not trying to diss this film in anyway I'm just giving my genuine feedback and felt like writing cause so much came to mind. I do understand that I'm that one kid right now. This movies entire hook was that it was self aware enough while still taking itself seriously within the movie. The Nimoy mask was an excellent example of that because it was there for comedic effect, mocking the Micheal Myers Shatner mask. It was also self aware about the slasher cliches as the where a plot point in the movie. Aspects like this movies good parts and why it is interesting, unfortunately it was also very technically strange and at times just uninteresting, at least to me. The hole one take gimmick is unique and isn't done very often and this movie pulled it off, well, fine... My problem with it is that it was unnecessary, by doing the hole one take thing i think the mood, cinematography and atmosphere where lacking in the movie. at points it felt very ameture and just not very pretty or well composed because they where sticking to one take. This movie also had no sound track, I believe it was because they wanted to make it feel like the moment and that goes with the hole one take thing, but i just thought it made the movie uninteresting and mildly boring. These are just some thoughts i had on this film, I would probably rate it a 4-10 just for relying on cheap gimmicks. If you read this far respond with literally anything. alright by
Can somebody say Michael Myers brother
Lisa Lisewsky More like crew mates-- after all, Michael Myers wears a Shatner mask and this Killer wears a Nimoy mask ;)
dumb
you boys trying to figure all this out and im just sitting here thinking about a movie starting out with a HOT girl in panties shaking her butt.
"Some of them say mean things, like I look like I'm 30 years old."
Damn, 4 a second there i thought he was finished b 4 he started, 4give me, lol,,,..Hope i wasnt the only 1 who thought that. Bad ass chick, i like😉 good film guys i liked it 👍
so who was the killer in the end
I wonder if people realize the Spock mask was supposed to be the original mask for Halloween 1978
Jacob Webster The first option was a Don Post Emmett Kelly clown mask to which they added frizzy red hair. This would be a callback to how Michael killed his sister, Judith, in a clown costume. They tested it out and it appeared featureless and creepy. The other mask was a 1975 William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk mask that was purchased for around two dollars, a 1975 Mr. Spock mask and a former U.S. president Richard Nixon mask. The Capt. Kirk mask was chosen due to its appearance of having no real facial features that could be easily made out.
Leonard Nimoy would've flipped if he seen this. lol.
It was a nice exercise, but I couldn't figure out whether is this horror, is this comedy, is it satire, is it homage? I got the references and the Spock mask bit, but there's no clear cut tone established making it very strange to get invested into. And if you're trying to do the "all in one take" style, you REALLY need a steadi-cam. The shaky-cam handheld style doesn't lend itself that well to it because it becomes very obvious from the tight shots and jerky movement that you're hiding a dozen edits in there. It's far too chaotic. Look at the work of Hitchcock, De Palma, and even Inarritu to see how that style is crafted. Generally, it is a very good looking presentation with the lighting, mood, and slight haze around. The gore is nicely done, and I rather enjoyed that 80s style rock track. However, it is more concept than story, and I feel it needed a little more story and a little more character to get its tone across more accurately. Still, keep making films, developing your skills, and striving for more.
Exactly! I wrote about the same stuff pretty much
Can things not be more than one genre? Scream is a horror-comedy-satire. Why can't this be?
@@zachengel196 It can be it just doesnt do either genre well
LLoafs With an 11 minute runtime, I think it did them all just fine. It’s basically a mini version of Scream, and it makes fun of horror rules and the fact that the killers are always ridiculously overpowered all in the span of 11 minutes.
@@zachengel196 yeah on like a fundamental level i think your right. it's definitely interesting i just think it was kinda tone deaf and shouldn't have been 1 take
This was hysterical!
Who ever made this has no knowledge of the basics of movie making.
Mikhail Razor and you do... How??
One, do not make my protagonist the protagonist to every horror movie ever. 2, do not try to trick the audience to thinking were smart by saying all of these cliches are a part of the story. 3, have your actors ACT like real humans.
it was in 160 FESTIVALS and has 40 AWARD WINS I think he knows enough
